We looooved our weekend stay here! It was a quiet getaway and provided the perfect cozy environment. We definitely will be returning. However, we will not be going to La Palapa for breakfast as the hostess was dismissive and rude to hotel guests including us. She refused service to other hotel guests stating their party was too large to accommodate regardless of them staying at Baywood Inn.
Spotless clean rooms, complimentary breakfast and happy hour. Cozy patio with fire pit and ocean view. Variety of restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff. We will definitely stay at Baywood again.
Somehow, a very small staff delivers a HUGE amount of service and value. My spouse and I needed a break from caregiving and other life demands. We didn't feel comfortable traveling to a faraway place due to family who might need us. So we took a two-hour drive north and found that the Baywood delivered everything we needed to feel restored. My favorite part was reading a great book on the nice chairs near an out-doors fire pit and falling asleep. I woke up and kept reading. I only stood up so that I could attend their charming happy hour with wine and snacks. Thanks, Baywood crew -- you know how to turn a pair of stressed guests into napping, wine-drinking, relaxed humans.
Hands down, the best place to stay in the county! Rooms are always clean and comfortable, staff are always accommodating and friendly, complimentary coffee, wine and baked goods are always delicious and breakfast either at Nautical Bean of La Palapa is always top notch. Parking is conveniently located In the front or back of the Inn. There are many locations around the property to enjoy the view while sitting next to a fire pit. The local bar, corner market and farmers market are all within 2 minutes walking distance which is super convenient. Many beaches and trails also within walking distance, baywood beach being the closest at 15 steps from your room! This last visit I brought my dog for his first vacation and everyone at Baywood Inn made it stress-free and super easy. Appreciate y’all and see you next time!
This inn is in a very peaceful location. Their Tex Mex style is cute and comfortable. The customers service and rooms where amazing! The breakfast provided with the room stay is delicious and so much better than your standard continental breakfast.
The Baywood Inn was a delightful place to stay while attending a wedding. The view was wonderful…the bed very comfortable…the staff welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed complimentary wine and snacks in the evening and complimentary breakfast at a restaurant next door. Great place for the price!
We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and absolutely loved it. The room was clean, cozy, with everything needed. Breakfast at a nearby café was very convenient, and the evening wine hour was such a nice touch. We also enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire pit at night. We’ll definitely be back!
I had a great stay here last weekend. The room was like brand new with nice amenities, a comfortable bed, and super clean. The location was perfect with restaurants and markets within walking distance and a view of the the bay. Curtis and Aley were extremely responsive to my needs. Highly recommended!
Surprisingly great find in the quiet bayside community of Los Osos. Just a short drive from Morro Bay and walking access to some nice wetlands and local services. Rooms are more spacious than the pictures make them appear. Probably the most comfortable beds of our trip. Would definitely stay again!
